Context

Context can be split into 2 frames of references-

From the elderly perspective:

1. Reading and sharing poetries, stories and shayaris is one of the favorite pastimes of the elders.

2. Elders don't prefer learning from internet websites and putting that information to daily use. Instead, they tend to consider it if the same information comes from some experienced and aged person, they believe in. Also they prefer videos (youtube) containing the required information to long articles available on the internet.

3. They spend a lot of time on their phone, mainly on whatsapp family groups forwarding some videos or posts.

4. We also came to know after talking to some of the elderly at our homes that they prefer sharing their experiences verbally. They are comfortable sharing their experiences on a one-to-one basis and publicly.

From the younger generation's perspective:

1. Lots of people when they shift to a new place, find it difficult to learn about the place. The elderly living at the same place for many years know a lot of things about the same and will be more than happy to help them out.

2. Mythology or Historical Book writers, while doing research for their project travel to different places to collect historical accounts and local tales. It would be much more convenient for them if they can get the information on a single platform where the elders from the different parts of the country can share the tales and the local legends.

3. A lot of young people, especially teenagers, require some form of coaching and guidance in their life. Some, for instance orphans, need care and attention. Elderly people can serve as life coaches/mentors for young people who need help.
